La tua immagine sarà trattata tramite la tecnologia Virtual Mirror per consentirti di provare in tempo reale gli occhiali da sole o da vista che desideri, come se fossi davanti ad uno specchio.

Quali sono le conseguenze del mancato conferimento dei tuoi dati?
Il conferimento dei tuoi dati è facoltativo; tuttavia se non ci fornisci il permesso di accedere alla fotocamera del tuo dispositivo per rilevare la tua immagine non ti sarà possibile provare in tempo reale gli occhiali che desideri.
Come funziona la tecnologia Virtual Mirror?
Virtual Mirror è una tecnologia di realtà aumentata attraverso la quale un utente può provare virtualmente e in tempo reale gli occhiali da sole o da vista che desidera, come se fosse davanti ad un specchio. All’utente che desidera provare un paio di occhiali, dopo averli selezionati, viene richiesto il permesso di accedere alla fotocamera del dispositivo utilizzato (es. smartphone, tablet, PC, totem) al fine di usufruire della tecnologia Virtual Mirror. Dopo aver fornito il permesso ad accedere alla fotocamera, compare sullo schermo dell’utente uno spazio 3-D a forma di ovale tratteggiato che aiuta nell’inquadrare correttamente il volto. La tecnologia Virtual Mirror applica poi un algoritmo al solo fine di individuare alcuni punti di riferimento all’interno dell’immagine. I punti di riferimento sono basati sulla posizione media e la forma degli angoli delle palpebre, la punta del naso, e la parte superiore delle orecchie che toccano le stanghette degli occhiali. In particolare, l’algoritmo funziona misurando le forme dei punti di riferimento per determinare la posizione del volto dell’utente. Infine, l’utente può visualizzare sullo schermo del dispositivo gli occhiali indossati sul proprio volto.
Con chi condividiamo i tuoi dati personali?
La tua immagine viene trattata in tempo reale senza conservazione della stessa da parte della Società. Il personale della Società non potrà accedere alla tua immagine e questa non potrà essere comunicata a terze parti. La tua immagine non sarà trasferita o condivisa con Swarovski.
I tuoi dati saranno trasferiti fuori dall’UE?
La tua immagine non sarà trasferita al di fuori dell’Unione Europea.
Per quanto tempo conserviamo i tuoi dati?
La tua immagine viene trattata in tempo reale, senza conservazione della stessa da parte della Società. Se clicchi sull’apposito comando sarà possibile scattare una foto ed effettuare il download della stessa sul dispositivo utilizzato. When you use the VTO feature, the system processes photos or video frames of your face or body captured through your device’s camera. Depending on the image characteristics, such data may qualify as biometric data under the GDPR if it can reveal physiological features capable of identifying you. Additional technical data (such as device type, browser information, or operational metadata) may be collected automatically while the tool operates. This is limited to what is necessary to ensure functionality, security, and performance.
2. Purpose of Processing
Your image data is processed solely to provide the Virtual Try On experience, including:
- analysing your image to simulate how Swarovski products appear when worn,
- rendering digital visualisations and product overlays,
- ensuring accurate alignment, fit, and display.
Your data is not used for identification, profiling, or facial recognition. It is not used for marketing, personalisation, or analytics beyond what is strictly necessary for the functioning of the VTO tool.
3. Data Controllers and Processors
The data you provide is processed solely by Swarovski. No processing of your image data takes place by iJewel3D; the technology partner only provides the underlying Virtual Try On functionality.

Your image data is retained only for the duration necessary to operate the VTO feature. Processing occurs in real time and images are not stored after your session ends.
5. Data Disclosure
Your image data is not disclosed to third parties for advertising, tracking, analytics, or unrelated purposes. No third party receives your image data for its own independent use.
