Rafael Lozano-Hemmer

Rafael Lozano-Hemmer is renowned for creating pieces that invite public participation. Taking inspiration from phantasmagoria, carnival, and animatronics, the Mexican-Canadian media artist embraces innovation and interactivity through robotic lights, digital fountains, media walls, and more. His work has been exhibited worldwide including a mid-career retrospective co-produced by the Musée de Art Contemporain de Montréal and SFMOMA.
