Het bedrijf verwerkt via Virtual Mirror-technologie geen biometrische gegevens van gebruikers (gedefinieerd in artikel 4 van de AVG als 'persoonsgegevens die het resultaat zijn van een specifieke technische verwerking met betrekking tot de fysieke, fysiologische of gedragsgerelateerde kenmerken van een natuurlijke persoon op grond waarvan eenduidige identificatie van die natuurlijke persoon mogelijk is of wordt bevestigd, zoals gezichtsafbeeldingen of vingerafdrukgegevens').
Waarom verwerken wij uw gegevens?
Uw afbeelding wordt verwerkt met behulp van Virtual Mirror-technologie, zodat u in realtime de zonnebril of bril van uw keuze kunt passen, alsof u voor een spiegel staat.
Op welke rechtsgrond baseren wij ons om uw gegevens te verwerken?
De verwerking van uw afbeelding is noodzakelijk om u in staat te stellen de Virtual Mirror-functie te gebruiken en daarom is de wettelijke basis de uitvoering van een contract waarbij u partij bent of de uitvoering van precontractuele maatregelen.
Wat zijn de gevolgen als u uw gegevens niet verstrekt?
Het verstrekken van uw gegevens is optioneel; Als u ons echter geen toestemming geeft om toegang te krijgen tot de camera van uw apparaat om uw afbeelding te detecteren, kunt u de bril van uw voorkeur niet in realtime passen.
Hoe werkt Virtual Mirror?
Virtual Mirror is een augmented reality-technologie waarmee een gebruiker virtueel en in realtime de zonnebril of bril kan passen die hij/zij wil, alsof hij/zij voor een spiegel staat. De gebruiker die een bril wil uitproberen, nadat hij deze heeft geselecteerd, wordt om toestemming gevraagd voor toegang tot de camera van het gebruikte apparaat (bijvoorbeeld smartphone, tablet, pc, totem) om de Virtual Mirror-technologie te gebruiken. Nadat toestemming is gegeven voor toegang tot de camera, verschijnt er een 3D-ruimte in de vorm van een gestippeld ovaal op het scherm van de gebruiker om het gezicht correct in beeld te brengen. De Virtual Mirror-technologie past vervolgens een algoritme toe met als enig doel bepaalde oriëntatiepunten in het beeld te identificeren. De referentiepunten zijn gebaseerd op de gemiddelde positie en vorm van de hoeken van de oogleden, het puntje van de neus en de bovenkant van de oren die de pootjes van de bril raken. Concreet werkt het algoritme door de vormen van de oriëntatiepunten te meten om de positie van het gezicht van de gebruiker te bepalen. Ten slotte kan de gebruiker de bril die op zijn/haar gezicht wordt gedragen, op het scherm van het apparaat bekijken.
Met wie delen wij uw persoonsgegevens?
Uw afbeelding wordt in realtime verwerkt zonder door het bedrijf bewaard te worden. Bedrijfspersoneel heeft geen toegang tot uw afbeelding, die niet aan derden wordt doorgegeven. Uw afbeelding wordt niet overgedragen naar of gedeeld met Swarovski.
Worden uw gegevens buiten de EU doorgegeven?
Uw afbeelding wordt niet buiten de Europese Unie doorgegeven.
Hoe lang bewaren wij uw gegevens?
Uw afbeelding wordt in realtime verwerkt, zonder opslag door het bedrijf. Als u op het daarvoor bestemde commando klikt, kunt u een foto maken en deze naar uw apparaat downloaden. Ook in dit geval heeft het Bedrijf geen toegang tot uw afbeelding en wordt deze niet door het Bedrijf opgeslagen.
Wat zijn uw rechten met betrekking tot uw persoonsgegevens?
Met betrekking tot de verwerking van uw persoonlijke gegevens heeft u, indien van toepassing, het recht om het Bedrijf op elk moment toegang te vragen tot de persoonlijke gegevens die u betreffen, om de rectificatie, verwijdering of beperking van de verwerking ervan te verzoeken, om bezwaar te maken tot de verwerking ervan, om de toestemming, indien gegeven, in te trekken en om de overdraagbaarheid ervan naar derden aan te vragen.
Welke andere rechten kunt u uitoefenen met betrekking tot uw persoonsgegevens?
U heeft altijd het recht om een klacht in te dienen bij de bevoegde toezichthoudende autoriteit.
