Our Commitments

Women’s Empowerment

As a brand for which women are a significant part of our consumer base and workforce, we strive to champion women’s empowerment. Our aim is to empower women across our value chain from those who craft our products to those who wear them.

IVD

Internationale Vrouwendag wordt op 8 maart gevierd en is erop gericht om de levens van alle vrouwen te eren: vrouwen uit alle landen en alle culturen, en met alle geloofsovertuigingen. We erkennen de kracht van elke vrouw. We geloven dat we samen de honderdjarige visie van de oprichters van Internationale Vrouwendag kunnen, en zullen, waarmaken en samen met alle genders voor een betere en vredigere wereld kunnen zorgen.

Mentorprogramma voor vrouwelijke vluchtelingen

We zetten ons al langer in voor empowerment en onderwijs en zetten dit kracht bij aan de hand van onze samenwerking met de non-profitorganisatie Tent. Onder onze samenwerking valt een mentorschap van 50 vrouwelijke vluchtelingen in de komende drie jaar. Het doel van het mentorprogramma is om de vaardigheden van vrouwelijke vluchtelingen te verbeteren en hun kans op een baan te verhogen.

WeSparkle

is een initiatief dat is opgericht in samenwerking met de Raks Thai Foundation, een organisatie die sterke gemeenschappen promoot en achtergestelde groepen helpt, om trainingscurricula en middelen op te stellen die de financiële kennis vergroten. Een populair onderdeel van het WeSparkle-programma is de Wellbeing Corner, waar personeel van Raks Thai aanwezig was op de werkvloer voor persoonlijke begeleiding en advies tijdens de werkpauzes. Er werden daarnaast speciale sessies met externe serviceproviders gehouden, waarbij informatie werd gegeven over verschillende onderwerpen zoals financiën, gezondheid en gendergelijkheid.

HERproject

HER staat voor ‘Health Enables Returns’. Het project met de slogan ‘Empowered Women, Dignified Work, Better Business’ laat zien hoe een prettige werkplek en financiële inclusie ervoor kan zorgen dat vrouwen hun volledige potentieel kunnen benutten. HERproject is opgericht in 2007 en heeft het welzijn, zelfvertrouwen en economische potentieel van meer dan 1.000.000 vrouwen en 450.000 mannen verhoogd.

Pride

We are passionate about celebrating the LGBTQ+ community throughout the year through awareness raising activities including panel discussions, workshops, Pride Month celebrations and partnerships with leading specialist organizations like Transgender Network Switzerland and Workplace Pride.

Community & Belonging

We want employees to feel like they belong, and that’s only possible when they feel themselves and represented at work – every time and everywhere. Our Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are key/crucial to creating this sense of inclusion and belonging. ERGs are employee led groups that contribute to fostering a more diverse and inclusive workplace. Participants are usually employees who feel connected by a mixture of shared interests, experiences, or backgrounds. Here are some ERGs we have:
