Mästare av Ljus – Från Wien till Milano är den första mångfacetterade utforskningen av Swarovskis rika historia och innovativa anda, ett av världens äldsta arvsmärken. Utställningen anländer till Milano, hjärtat av italienskt mode, och presenteras i salongerna i Palazzo Citterio, den magnifika utbyggnaden av Pinacoteca di Brera – den perfekta platsen för att visa upp utvecklingen av Swarovskis konstnärskap och savoir-faire.

Tidskammaren avslöjar metamorfosen i Swarovskis historia, utvecklingen av dess savoir-faire och dess inverkan på mode och kultur, samtidigt som den lyfter fram den kreativa förundran och det exceptionella hantverk som definierar huset. En resa genom tre århundraden, där viktiga milstolpar belyses med enastående exempel på konstnärskap hämtade från Swarovski Heritage Collection.

Swarovski är en viktig samarbetspartner till modevärldens verkliga giganter, de som har förändrat vårt sätt att se på världen och som fortsätter att omforma och utveckla våra ideal, och därmed skapar vår framtids historia. I dessa rum visas enastående kreationer från globala talanger som spänner över 129 år av magisk kreativitet, grupperade i en serie av 20 visuella dialoger. Varje smycke är en framtidsvision i dialog med historien, förenade av Swarovski-kristall.
Mästare av Ljus Salen
Kristall både fångar och omvandlar ljus, vilket ger en gnistra och ett skimrande ljus som låter varje Swarovski-pjäs lysa med sin egen inneboende luminositet. Mästarens Ljuskammare visar exceptionella exempel på hur detta översätts till mode. En höjdpunkt är en Haute Couture-klänning av Gianni Versace från höst/vinter 1995, vilken introducerade den rena lystern hos Swarovski Crystal Mesh till couturens värld för allra första gången.
Exclusive Una Angelic Milan Collection
To celebrate Masters of Light - From Vienna to Milan, we have created an Una Angelic Milan capsule collection, named after the first European destination to host the exhibition. The collection is available in the exhibition’s pop-up store, inside Palazzo Citterio, and other select boutiques.
The Mathemagical Chamber showcases jewelry featuring Swarovski Crystals in complex plays of shape and form, alongside exceptional home objects and components for fashion. Part atelier, part laboratory, this chamber fuses the logic of science with the magic of creation. Central to the space are jewelry-couture pieces by Swarovski Global Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert for the 2024 Met Gala, which highlight Swarovski’s superlative artisanship.

‘I curated this chamber as an ode to Swarovski Crystal. It celebrates Swarovski’s history as creators of crystal - and our modern heritage as a jewelry brand since 1977. Inspiration comes from the savoir-faire of our artistry, the geometric form of each jewel, and the prism of color that crystal creates when charmed by light. These have each shaped my designs - crystal cuts inspire the forms of our modern icons: the Millenia, the Lucent, the Harmonia, the Mesmera. All crystallize our DNA.’ Global Creative Director, Giovanna Engelbert.

Palazzo Citterio’s lush garden is an oasis in the heart of Milan. Nestled among the mature trees is the orangery -recast as the Swarovski Café - with a menu created by renowned Milanese chef Carlo Cracco.
