Om dit te minimaliseren, volgen we twee raamwerken: LEED, het wereldwijd toonaangevende beoordelingssysteem voor groene gebouwen, en GLEAM, onze eigen beoordeling die voortborduurt op de normen van LEED en verschillende Swarovski-specifieke criteria toevoegt. Vijf winkels hebben tot nu toe LEED-certificering behaald, met extra locaties gecertificeerd onder GLEAM. Onze flagship store in New York, Swarovski on Fifth, behaalde in 2024 LEED Platinum, de hoogste waardering in zes categorieën, waaronder energie, water, materialen en kwaliteit van de binnenomgeving. De store maakt gebruik van gerecyclede of verantwoord verkregen fittingen, waterbesparende voorzieningen die het verbruik tot 45% verminderen, en slimme energiemeters die de prestaties met 16% hebben verbeterd. In heel Europa blijven we slimme meters uitrollen om energieverbruik te optimaliseren, efficiënties te identificeren en de impact op het milieu en operationele kosten te verlagen.
