Du Vienne du XIXe siècle au Shanghai d’aujourd’hui, vous voyagerez au cœur d’une scénographie unique et panoramique au coeur des sept Chambres des merveilles, qui retracent avec brio l’histoire de Daniel Swarovski, son ambition première et ses inspirations.

Tous ont su traduire ici leur propre vision de l'avenir, en dialogue avec l'histoire, et leur approche innovante des cristaux Swarovski. Traditions et nouvelles techniques fusionnent dans une merveilleuse symbiose, fruit d’un échange créatif continu entre Swarovski et les maisons de couture internationales. Ou l’incroyable rencontre de l’héritage et de l’inventivité.

Swarovski has a rich history of collaboration with global contemporary artists. To celebrate Masters of Light - From Vienna to Shanghai, Swarovski collaborated with Beijing artist Tian Xiaolei on an installation of digital artworks. Drawing inspiration from Swarovski Crystal and translating it into a new medium, Tian expands his ongoing Myth artwork series, which showcases fantastical human-machine hybrids as visions of future humanity. Limbs fuse with Swarovski Crystals, as if jewelry is part of the anatomy.

As an international metropolis dedicated to forward-looking visions alongside a cherishing of tradition, Shanghai was chosen to open the new exhibition as it reflects the spirit of Swarovski.
