In Greek mythology, Pegasus, the winged horse, kicks the earth with his hooves to create the spring of artistic inspiration, from which all poets and other literati drink. The sculpture rests on the three-point base of the piece. Its hind legs and tail were a technical achievement at the time.

It dwells in a secret, safe place, like something semi-transparent whose presence is illusive. That’s the way it is with a unicorn – you can never be entirely sure whether it is there. Fully cut crystal with matte crystal beard, horn, and tail.
