「光線工藝 ── 源自維也納，閃耀上海」是身歷其境的體驗、懷舊的回顧展覽，以及對未來的展望；也是歐洲最古老的奢侈品牌首次對於傳統和創新精神的探索之旅。
透過獨特的全景式場地設計，展覽分成七個 Chambers of Wonder 空間。每位參觀者將從 19 世紀的維也納 (Daniel Swarovski 在這裡得到了初次的靈感，重新定義了水晶的創造)，穿越到 21 世紀的上海，甚至更遠的地方。
Future History
Each represents a vision of the future conversing with history, united by their innovative approach to Swarovski Crystal. Embracing new methodologies and cherishing tradition in a unique symbiosis, Swarovski’s continuing creative exchange with international fashion houses represents a fusion of heritage and invention.

Swarovski blickt auf eine reiche Geschichte der Zusammenarbeit mit zeitgenössischen Künstlerinnen und Künstlern aus aller Welt zurück. Um Masters of Light – From Vienna to Shanghai zu feiern, hat Swarovski mit dem Pekinger Künstler Tian Xiaolei an einer Installation digitaler Kunstwerke zusammengearbeitet. Tian lässt sich von Swarovski Kristallen inspirieren und überträgt sie in ein neues Medium. So erweitert er seine fortlaufende Kunstserie „Myth“, in der fantastische Mensch-Maschine-Hybride als Visionen der zukünftigen Menschheit dargestellt werden. Die Gliedmaßen verschmelzen mit Swarovski Kristallen, und lassen Schmuck zum Teil der Anatomie werden.
