As part of the ongoing 100 years of wonder celebrations, Disney is bringing together an extraordinary cast of creative minds from fashion, food, art, music, and more. Established creators were invited to nominate an emerging talent, with each contributing a one-of-a-kind piece. Proceeds will go to Make-A-Wish, a non-profit foundation dedicated to fulfilling the dreams of critically ill children.
A Legacy of Joyful Artistry
For Create100, Swarovski Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert donated a bespoke solid crystal slipper, created exclusively for Disney’s 2015 Live Action Cinderella.
Taking a team of eight specialists nearly 150 hours to craft, the iconic shoe features 221 sparkling facets, coated in Swarovski’s light-reflecting Aurora Borealis shimmer. Topped with a beautiful golden butterfly, the slipper is a fitting tribute to Disney’s unique storytelling heritage.
