Pulse Voronoi is a biometric light and sound installation that explores both our human individuality and our shared origins. Within this Chamber of Wonder, 7,000 clear crystals are suspended from the ceiling, pulsing in synchrony with the heartbeat of its visitors.
バイオメトリックな輝き
クリスタルが次々と光るのを見ているうちに、それらが鑑賞者の鼓動に合わせて光っていることが分かってくるでしょう。つまり鼓動とクリスタルが互いに作用しあっているのです。それぞれのクリスタルがおのおの輝きを放ちながら、1つの光の集まりを形成します。
脈動に身をまかせて
5つの心拍センサーを使用して、手を置いたすべての人の鼓動を検出し、独自の光のパターンが生成されます。独自のビートを刻みつつ、鑑賞者のパワーにアクセスし、それぞれの鼓動にあわせて輝きます。
メメント・モリ（死を忘れるな）
新たな鼓動が記録されるたびに、古いものから順に部屋を退出し、「メメント・モリ（死を忘れるな）」という強烈なメッセージを投げかけます。最も魅惑的な瞬間でさえ、うたかたであり、記憶の中でしか生きていけないということを、美しい形で思い起こさせてくれます。
ストーリーを語る
鑑賞者は3,000台のクリスタルスピーカーが吊り下げられたスペースに入ります。それぞれのスピーカーの下を通るたびに、Swarovskiのクリエーターのチームメンバーが語る音声が再生されます。
アルプスからインスピレーションを得て
オーストリアのアルプスのエコーからインスピレーションを得たKristallstimmenでは、さまざまな言語、イントネーション、ささやきを重ね合わせた声の合唱を聞くことができます。
