Masters of Light - From Vienna to Milan es el primer viaje polifacético a la historia y el espíritu innovador de Swarovski, una de las marcas más antiguas conocida en todo el mundo por su creatividad polifacética: un viaje metafórico a través del tiempo y el espacio. Llegada a Milán, el corazón de la moda italiana, la exposición se presenta en los salones interiores del Palazzo Citterio, la magnífica extensión de la Pinacoteca di Brera, el lugar perfecto para revelar la evolución del arte y el savoir-faire de Swarovski.
Time Chamber
Time Chamber revela la metamorfosis de la historia de Swarovski, la evolución de su savoir-faire y su impacto en la moda y la cultura, al tiempo que destaca la maravilla creativa y la artesanía excepcional que definen a la Casa. Un viaje a través de tres siglos, los hitos clave se iluminan con ejemplos sobresalientes de arte extraídos de la Swarovski Heritage Collection.
Future History Chamber
Swarovski, collaborateur clé des plus grands noms de la mode, ceux-là mêmes qui ont redéfini l'esthétique mondiale et continuent de transformer et de faire évoluer nos conceptions de la beauté, créant ainsi l'histoire de notre futur. Dans ces espaces, des tenues exceptionnelles de talents internationaux, retraçant 129 ans de créativité étincelante, sont regroupées en une série de 20 dialogues visuels. Chacun est une vision du futur conversant avec l'histoire, unis par le cristal Swarovski.
Masters of Light Chamber
Le cristal a le pouvoir unique de capter et de transformer la lumière, offrant un scintillement et un éclat qui permet à chaque pièce Swarovski de rayonner d'une luminescence intrinsèque. Masters of Light Chamber présente des exemples exceptionnels de la façon dont cela se traduit dans la mode. Un point fort est une robe Haute Couture de Gianni Versace de la collection Automne/Hiver 1995, qui a introduit pour la toute première fois l'éclat pur de la résille de cristal Swarovski dans l'univers de la couture.
Diamonds of the Future Chamber

À la pointe des matériaux fabriqués par l'Homme, les Swarovski Created Diamonds incarnent la prochaine étape de la maîtrise de la lumière par Swarovski. Affiné dans un environnement de laboratoire sophistiqué qui compresse des millions d'années en quelques semaines, une minuscule « graine » de carbone se développe, couche par couche, en un diamant de laboratoire. Ce dernier est ensuite taillé et poli avec précision en s'appuyant sur le savoir-faire centenaire de Swarovski en matière de joaillerie.
Pour célébrer « Masters of Light - From Vienna to Milan », nous avons créé une collection capsule « Una Angelic Milan », du nom de la première ville européenne à accueillir l'exposition. La collection est disponible dans la boutique éphémère de l'exposition, au Palazzo Citterio, et dans d'autres boutiques sélectionnées.
Mathemagical Chamber expose des bijoux mettant en scène les cristaux Swarovski dans des jeux de formes et de volumes complexes, aux côtés d'objets de décoration et de composants de mode exceptionnels. Mi-atelier, mi-laboratoire, cet espace fusionne la logique scientifique à la magie de la création. En pièce centrale, on retrouve des bijoux haute couture réalisés par Giovanna Engelbert, Directrice de la création de Swarovski à l'échelle mondiale, pour le gala du Met 2024, qui mettent en lumière le savoir-faire artisanal hors pair de Swarovski.
The Jewelry Box

‘I curated this chamber as an ode to Swarovski Crystal. It celebrates Swarovski’s history as creators of crystal - and our modern heritage as a jewelry brand since 1977. Inspiration comes from the savoir-faire of our artistry, the geometric form of each jewel, and the prism of color that crystal creates when charmed by light. These have each shaped my designs - crystal cuts inspire the forms of our modern icons: the Millenia, the Lucent, the Harmonia, the Mesmera. All crystallize our DNA.’ Global Creative Director, Giovanna Engelbert.

The stage and cinema costumes, fashion items, and red-carpet ensembles exhibited in the Pop Icons Chamber illustrate how creatives have always turned to Swarovski to transport audiences and craft dreams. More than just famous, these individuals have reshaped contemporary culture across the globe, their wardrobes an expression of their freedom and personal values. Swarovski is an essential component to communicate their creative attitudes.

Palazzo Citterio’s lush garden is an oasis in the heart of Milan. Nestled among the mature trees is the orangery -recast as the Swarovski Café - with a menu created by renowned Milanese chef Carlo Cracco.
