We are making significant progress in reducing our overall greenhouse gas emissions due to efficiencies across our value chain. These include the transition to renewable energy wherever possible in our operations, and in the materials that we use. Since 2023, we have been sourcing carbon-reduced Swarovski Zirconia that is created using renewable electricity in one of the most energy intensive parts of the process. As a result, 77% of the electricity used for the production of Swarovski Zirconia now comes from renewable sources. This cuts cradle-to-gate carbon emissions by at least 55% compared to zirconia produced without renewable energy, while maintaining the same quality, brilliance, and durability.
