Decorating genius Birgit Mörtl shows you how to transform any space into a holiday wonderland, while there are also glimpses of our Fifth Avenue grand opening in New York, and a fashion-inspired Swarovski event in China.
Wonders of the Season
Discover the vision and craftsmanship behind this year’s flamboyant Idyllia collection. Martin Zendron, Crystal Designer at Swarovski, explains how the Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna provided the inspiration, with murals full of richness and lush colors. Along with a joyful range of jewelry, a particular highlight is the Birds and Butterflies Bell Jar Crystal Myriad, which takes more than 231 hours to produce.
An Annual TraditionTitle:
Crystal designer Michele Blasilli describes this year’s Annual Edition Ornament as “complex simplicity”. Showcasing the purity and essence of Swarovski, it features 97 facets that are a testament to supreme crystal cutting. Watch as he guides us through the many choices available, including a futuristic 3D edition, collectible sets, and a special edition for SCS members in tribute to the edelweiss.
Light Up Any RoomTitle:
Ignite the holiday magic in your home with decorating tips from Birgit Mörtl. She reveals how this year’s holiday creations can be used in the best way, from Christmas wreaths and glistening snowmen, through to shelf displays, and playful scenes filled with crystals. A sensational way to delight family and friends.
Cleaning Can Be FunTitle:
The season of light is the perfect opportunity to let your treasures shine.
For the best cleaning care, Swarovski recommends JS210 spray, enhanced with diamond powder. The water-based product delivers a high gloss and brilliant radiance. Not only is it water and dust repellent, but it’s also antibacterial. You can find it at Swarovski.com, but keep in mind that it’s not suitable for jewelry or Crystal Myriads.
That’s a WrapTitle:
For a final flourish, we’re shown how to wrap our holiday gifts for someone special. Looking ahead to next year, Ann-Sophie reveals that the SCS collection 2024 will be the first entirely envisioned by Creative Director, Giovanna Engelbert. We’d love to hear from you, so share all your thoughts and experiences using #Swarovski.
