In de Griekse mythologie trapt Pegasus, het gevleugelde paard, met zijn hoeven tegen de aarde om de bron van artistieke inspiratie te creëren, waaruit alle dichters en andere literatoren drinken. De sculptuur rust op de voet met drie punten. Zijn achterpoten en staart waren in die tijd een technisch hoogstandje.

It dwells in a secret, safe place, like something semi-transparent whose presence is illusive. That’s the way it is with a unicorn – you can never be entirely sure whether it is there. Fully cut crystal with matte crystal beard, horn, and tail.
