We take pride in how our stores bring Swarovski’s design and craftsmanship to life, while recognising that all physical spaces have an environmental impact. To minimise this, we follow two frameworks: LEED, the world’s leading green building rating system, and GLEAM, our own assessment building on LEED’s standards and adding several Swarovski‑specific criteria. Five stores have achieved LEED certification to date, with additional locations certified under GLEAM. Our New York flagship, Swarovski on Fifth, earned LEED Platinum in 2024, the highest rating across six categories including energy, water, materials, and indoor environmental quality. The store features recycled or responsibly sourced fittings, water‑saving fixtures that cut use by up to 45%, and smart energy metering that has improved performance by 16%. Across Europe, we are continuing to roll out smart meters to optimise energy use, identify efficiencies, and lower environmental impact and operating costs.
