Swarovski has a long-standing commitment to social responsibility that dates to its founding in 1895. As one of the early companies to provide social welfare to workers, such as housing support, financing the local school, and prioritising employee health, safety and wellbeing, this responsibility has always been part of who we are. Today, we continue this legacy by respecting and protecting the rights of people across our business and supply chain. From advancing gender equity and inclusive leadership to supporting vulnerable workers, we build a culture rooted in fairness and the celebration of individuality at every level.​
Progress Highlights

In 2025, women represented 41% of our senior leadership roles, reflecting ongoing efforts to increase the representation of diverse backgrounds in leadership. This progress is also recognised internally, with 89% of our employees agreeing in the Global Culture Survey that Swarovski values diversity and inclusion.

​To strengthen diversity and inclusion, we introduced a tool to track representation across our workforce and identify improvement areas. We also updated our Leadership Principles to emphasise inclusivity, respect, and care, helping leaders to create a culture where everyone is valued and able to thrive.

Our owned production facilities are regularly certified or audited against internationally recognised social and occupational standards, including SA8000, SMETA, and ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System.

Ons WeShine-programma bevordert de empowerment, gezondheid en financiële geletterdheid van werknemers op eigen Swarovski-productielocaties in India, Thailand en Vietnam. Meer dan 2400 werknemers hebben meegedaan, waardoor het welzijn op onze Aziatische locaties is verbeterd.

Sinds 2022 zijn we lid van Sedex, een van 's werelds toonaangevende platforms voor ethische handel, dat zich inzet om transparantie en arbeidsomstandigheden in mondiale toeleveringsketens te verbeteren.

Om ervoor te zorgen dat onze leveranciers en partners dezelfde ethische waarden handhaven als wij, hebben we in 2025 140 milieu- en sociale audits voltooid bij leveranciers met een hoog risico via ons Responsible Sourcing Initiative.
