Zum Auftakt unseres Livestreams im April gab es von Designer Martin Zendron eine Einführung in unsere SCS Kollektion 2023. Bei dieser vielseitigen Diskussion wurde ein tiefer Einblick in die Themen und Inspirationsquellen hinter den einzelnen Stücken sowie ein Überblick über die gesamte Kollektion gegeben. Zendron ist für seinen naturalistischen Ansatz bekannt. Bei jeder Figurine ist er bestrebt, sie so realistisch wie möglich zu gestalten, unabhängig davon, ob es sich um Gepard Mehira und ihr Gepardenbaby Jabari oder um Strauß Makena und ihr Ei handelt.
Beim Entwerfen unseres außergewöhnlichen Gepards in limitierter Ausgabe ließ Zendron seiner Kreativität freien Lauf. Mit der Abkehr vom Mainstream und dem Einsatz neuer Farben und Perspektiven verlieh er der eleganten Silhouette der Wildkatze zusätzliche Dimensionen. Jedes Stück bleibt bewusst frei für Interpretationen. Je nachdem, wie Sie diese markante Figurine betrachten, werden Sie entweder einen Geparden bei einem gemütlichen Spaziergang sehen oder ein Raubtier, das sich an seine Beute heranschleicht.

Bringing our crystalline figurines to life is a labor of love. During the livestream, we were able to take a look behind-the-scenes, spending time in the artists’ workshops to learn more about our signature savoir-faire and the work that went into creating the SCS Cheetah Mehira.
Designer Martin Zendron revealed how he composes the drafts for his figurines, digitally drawing a sketch of the SCS Cheetah Mehira standing proudly atop a rocky outcrop. His sketch is then used to create a resin-based replica that allows our masters of light to fully realize his idea.
We were then shown how the figurine is formed, from the cutting of the crystals to the attention paid to each separate element, taking time over every detail, and piecing them together by hand. After a thorough quality control inspection, the finished figurine, with all its 511 facets, is then ready to be shipped.
