De uitstraling van de nieuwe BMW i7 wordt gedefinieerd door de niervormige contouren en een tweedelig koplampensysteem. De kristallen in dit systeem, twee paar per zijde, zijn voorzien van afzonderlijk bedienbare ledpanelen die een onregelmatige, levendige schittering creëren. Overdag vormen ze de rijverlichting en ‘s avonds de indicatorlampen met hoge en lage lichtstalen die discreet aanwezig zijn in het lagere gedeelte.
