A Dazzling Debut

Crafted from multiple crystal cuts that are delicately arranged like dancers on a ballroom floor, this year’s tiara draws on our Mesmera family to light up the internationally renowned Vienna Opera Ball. Representing our distinctive heritage to dazzling effect, its shimmering beauty casts a beautiful glow on each debutante to make their special night shine even brighter.

A Legacy of Wonder

A collaboration spanning nearly 70 years, the union of Swarovski and the Vienna Opera Ball celebrates the beauty, elegance, and rich culture of our shared Austrian heritage. Illuminating the ball is the joyful extravagance of the Swarovski Tiara, a virtuoso display of our mastery of light and unique savoir-faire. This year’s design was created by Global Creative Director, Giovanna Engelbert, following in the footsteps of a celebrated group of collaborators including Karl Lagerfeld, Christian Lacroix, and Donatella Versace.

Shining in Harmony

The 2024 Swarovski Tiara draws on our stunning Mesmera family, each hand-set piece is crafted from 233 clear crystals in 20 different cuts, from oversized to smaller stones, all shining in harmony.
A key date in the Austrian cultural calendar, the Vienna Opera Ball opens with debutantes in white tie, white dresses, and Swarovski Tiaras. The event takes place at the Vienna State Opera and is a beautiful tableau of Viennese splendor.

Tiara Installation

The Swarovski Tiara can be viewed in exquisite detail at the Swarovski Kristallwelten store on Kärntnerstrasse 24 in Vienna. Here, visitors also have a unique opportunity to admire the timeless elegance of the tiaras with selected historical editions on display.
