Masters of Light - From Vienna to Milan is the first multi-faceted exploration of the rich story and innovative spirit of Swarovski, one of the world’s oldest heritage brands. Arriving in Milan, the heart of Italian fashion, the exhibition is presented across the internal salons of Palazzo Citterio, the magnificent extension of Pinacoteca di Brera - the perfect location to reveal the evolution of Swarovski’s artistry and savoir-faire.
Time Chamber
The Time Chamber reveals the metamorphosis of Swarovski’s story, the evolution of its savoir-faire, and its impact across fashion and culture, while highlighting the creative wonder and exceptional craftsmanship that defines the House. A journey across three centuries, key milestones are illuminated with outstanding examples of artistry drawn from the Swarovski Heritage Collection.
Future History Chamber
Swarovski is a key collaborator with fashion’s true greats who have changed the way the world looks, and who continue to transform and evolve our ideas of beauty, creating the history of our future. In these chambers, outstanding outfits from global talents spanning 129 years of magical creativity, are grouped into a series of 20 visual dialogues. Each is a vision of the future conversing with history united by Swarovski Crystal.
Masters of Light Chamber
Crystal both captures and transforms light, offering a scintillation and sparkle that allows each Swarovski piece to glow with its own inherent luminescence. The Masters of Light Chamber showcases exceptional examples of how this translates into fashion. A highlight is an Haute Couture gown by Gianni Versace from Fall/Winter 1995, which introduced the pure radiance of Swarovski Crystal Mesh to the universe of couture for the very first time.
L'esclusiva Collezione Una Angelic Milan
Per celebrare Masters of Light from Vienna to Milan, abbiamo creato Una Angelic Milan una capsule collection esclusiva che prende il nome dalla prima città Europea ad ospitare la mostra. Questa collezione è disponibile nel pop-up store all'interno di Palazzo Citterio e in negozi selezionati.
Nella Mathemagical Chamber sono esposti gioielli, oggetti per la casa, per interni e componenti per il mondo fashion che mostrano come i Cristalli Swarovski possano assumere infinite forme e sfaccettature. In parte atelier e in parte laboratorio, questa sala unisce la razionalità della scienza e la magia della creatività. Nucleo centrale di questo spazio una selezione di abiti, espressione della jewelry-couture creata da Giovanna Engelbert, Global Creative Director Swarovski, per il Met Gala 2024, che mostrano la superlativa maestria artigianale di Swarovski.

Un omaggio al suo patrimonio nella produzione di cristalli e alla sua più recente storia come marchio di gioielleria, iniziata nel 1997. L'ispirazione arriva dal savoir-faire della nostra artigianalità, dalle geometrie di ogni gioiello, dal prisma cromatico che ogni cristallo irradia quando scopre la luce. Tutto questo ha influenzato il mio processo creativo e il taglio del cristallo ispira le più moderne e iconiche collezioni: Millenia, Lucent, Harmonia, Mesmera. Nella Pop Icon Chamber una varietà incredibile di costumi e abiti di scena, ma anche abiti da red carpet, racconta come i creativi si sono sempre rivolti a Swarovski per esprimere il loro talento creativo. Non solo celebrità, ma figure che hanno contribuito a reinventare la cultura contemporanea globale, trasmettendo attraverso l'abito il linguaggio della libertà e i propri valori.
