Durch Effizienzsteigerungen entlang unserer gesamten Wertschöpfungskette erzielen wir deutliche Fortschritte bei der Reduzierung unserer Treibhausgasemissionen. Dazu zählt insbesondere der Umstieg auf erneuerbare Energien, wo immer dies in unseren Betriebsabläufen und bei den von uns eingesetzten Materialien möglich ist. Seit 2023 beziehen wir CO2-reduzierte Swarovski Zirconia, deren Herstellung in einem der energieintensivsten Teile des Prozesses auf erneuerbarem Strom basiert. Infolgedessen stammen 77 Prozent des für die Produktion unserer Swarovski Zirconia eingesetzten Stroms aus erneuerbaren Stromquellen. Dadurch sinken die Cradle-to-Gate-CO2-Emissionen im Vergleich zu Zirconia ohne Einsatz erneuerbarer Energien um mindestens 55 Prozent, bei gleichbleibender Qualität, Brillanz und Langlebigkeit.
