The French law n°2018-771 for the freedom of choice regarding employees’ professional future, dated from the 5th of September 2018, aims to guarantee, for all the companies employing at least 50 employees, the professional equality between women and men, making this principle a “must-have”.
Swarovski supports and strongly believes in the professional equity between women and men, and will publish, on a yearly basis, the global grade obtained, based on the indicators defined by the Law.
For the year of reference 2023, the global grade is 90/100, result of our strong commitment in this gender equality and willingness to fight against discrimination. Here are the results obtained for each indicator allowing the calculation of the final Index:
Pay gap between women and men: 35/40
Difference in the rate of individual increases (excluding promotions) between women and men: 20/20
Difference in promotion rate between women and men: 15/15
Number of employees increased on their return from maternity leave: 15/15
Number of people of the under-represented sex among the 10 highest paid: 5/10
We are determined to continue our progresses and will do all our best to improve the current situation, with the strong ambition to reach 100/100.
