Japanese illustrator Hiroshi Yoshii praises the multi-faceted nature of penguins in a new Swarovski collaboration. Capturing the birds’ elegant beauty and playfulness in sparkling and dynamic form, this charming family has been exclusively created for the Swarovski Crystal Society to bring a little cheer to each day.
As one of the most noted digital designers in Japan, Yoshii is acknowledged for his quirky mascots’ poses and expressions, which bring to life each character’s personality with endearingly realistic traits. For these spirited Swarovski crystal collectibles, an image of an energetic young penguin flapping his wings acted as inspiration. Yoshii explains, “Penguins walk on two legs and they are very close to the human figure, making it very natural and easy to represent emotions in them.”
Synonymous with grace and beauty the swan is Swarovski’s iconic emblem. Exquisitely crafted Swarovski crystal facets evoke the sparkling spirit of nature’s most elegant bird. This captivating member exclusive is accompanied by three adorable cygnets and celebrates the Swarovski Crystal Society’s significant milestone.
