Three generations of women – sparkling, generous, forever smiling, and always keen for adventure – my mom, my daughter, and me.
There is such a strong bond between us. I never go more than two days without calling my mom or sending her an email. My twelve-year-old daughter, on the other hand, is both my life coach and true confidante.
What do we all have in common?
Our big personalities! We all know what we want and have the ambition to see us through to the end of even the most difficult projects. My mom has always encouraged me. I really admire how she managed to juggle her career and a family life so well. My sister and I were raised with so much love, but with discipline too. Today, I am really enjoying seeing my daughter discover and shape her own personality.
Genuine creativity is also something that we all have in common. My mom is my role model – she paints, writes, draws, and even made our clothes. My daughter has inherited this sense of imagination too. When she had only just turned five, she made me a ring out of paper when I was named as Creative Director of Swarovski.
Of course, we all share a love for fashion. Like me, my mom adores jewelry and accessories. And my daughter and I both have an addiction to beautiful shoes. Luckily for her, we both wear the same shoe size!
