Just as you would have a ring on your finger, we’ve made blue lavender versions of these opulent rings to provide something to nibble on at any time! Take thinly rolled short-crust pastry (combine softened butter, flour, and brown sugar) and spread out on a floured surface. Cut into delicate shapes and bake until golden. On a rack, frost the cooled cookies with a mixture of icing sugar combined with a touch of lemon juice and a few drops of water. Add one, two, or three drops of blue food coloring to create different shades of lavender. Decorate with different blue sprinkles using lavender flowers, crystallized violets, Earl Grey tea combined with cornflower petals, and silver chocolate pearls. They are even better enjoyed with an old-fashioned violet-flavored marshmallow!
