My business trip beauty tips 2/2

When I travel I always have a few beauty and perfume essentials: I never even think about leaving the house without lipstick. I constantly reapply it to make sure I always look impeccable, even on the plane. My favorite at the moment is “Lady Danger” by MAC. This strikingly named lipstick instantly peps up a tired face.

Being very sensitive to smell, I use my favorite perfume frequently (“Untitled” by Maison Martin Margiela), with a few sprays over my headrest and stole. It’s immediately relaxing and lets me cocoon myself in my own little world. I also have a few little tricks to stay hydrated. Before I go to sleep, I wash my face the same way I do every night with “Créaline H2O” cleanser by Bioderma (which comes in a handy 100ml bottle), and I apply a night mask (by Sampar) which penetrates the skin and hydrates deeply.

I always carry my Aïny lip balm, a mini version (10g) of Dr. Hauschka’s hand cream, and a mini bottle of Avène “Thermal Water Spray”. I owe a lot to Caudalie products. I love their “Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet” face cream, which reactivates the skin’s hydration mechanisms. I use their “Premier Cru” eye cream, which you can also apply around the edges of your mouth, and their “Mineral Bronzing Powder” gives me a natural glow for when I land.

I always carry a small bottle of “Emergency Nomadic Spray” by Ballot-Flurin (with propolis as the air conditioning makes my throat sensitive) and a little phial of red Myrtle essential oil. I use a few drops mixed into some perfume-free body lotion to massage my legs and activate the blood’s micro circulation, which is interrupted during long flights, plus some Biomag capsules which I take to stop me feeling sluggish from a lack of magnesium.
