In Ho Chi Minh City, one of my favorite Asian cities, the day begins at 5:00 with an iced coffee watching the extraordinary torrent of scooters passing by. Along the walkways of the Bến Thành market, the rolls of beautiful silks give me inspiration for new styles. If it is too hot, I take refuge at Usine, an amalgamation of a Parisian café and a New York concept store.
I go to see the young designers at Blackmarket n°3, whose pieces give a great sense of the current fashion mood. The end of the day is always romantic, and I love watching dusk fall from the Rex hotel, or relaxing with a drink in the stylish Blanchy’s Tash. Chill’s outdoor terrace greets me with an array of beautiful people, while at the baroque Sin Lounge, Ho Chi Minh City’s gilded youth take selfies.
