Shourouk is our guest designer this season, an artist whom I really admire for her colorful, feminine, and modern style. In short, she’s a woman after my own heart! Her vision, combined with her Tunisian cultural heritage and inspiration taken from India, fits in perfectly with our collection as a vibrant homage to the splendor of the Maharajas. The main theme for this contemporary Indian journey was an explosion of color. A kaleidoscopic abundance incorporating pinks, fuchsias, and emeralds to make an ornate and bold impact. Opulent, vintage-style jewelry that can be used to contrast with the casual style of jeans and heels. The must-have piece this season is a bib necklace, embroidered with black crystals in 3D for striking volume but still as light as a feather!
A few things you should know about my dear friend Shourouk Rhaeim:
Her fans: Michelle Obama, Anna Dello Russo, and, more recently, Jessica Chastain!
Her first steps in the industry: Chloé, John Galliano in Paris, and Roberto Cavalli in Florence.
Her favorite area of Paris: Beaubourg, where she established her “curiosity shop,” as she likes to call her creative studio.
