It’s Paris Fashion Week, and presenting a new collection is all about creating an immediate, electrifying impact under the critical gaze of the world’s fashion journalism elite. This year, the showroom took the form of a contemporary art gallery. Art was the major source of inspiration behind the collection, demanding clean and modern lines, a blank canvas for designs sculpted with African spirit. Rare objects, ethnic sculptures, and raw minerals with intense blues brought together two strong jewelry themes of the moment: Tribal Glam, with its golden shimmer, and Monochrome Blue. The pictorial ambiance in the room was accentuated by canvases, artisan detailing, and graphic wax prints.
