This is a story of firsts; a first watch design for Shourouk and a first foray by Swarovski into the aesthetics of making a jeweled watch with accompanying accessories.
I have always been fascinated by the concept of versatile accessories, something that I have tried to infuse into our jewelry collections since I joined Swarovski in 2007. Now, for the first time, this idea is also being used in our watch collection.
One case, one watch, three straps and two interchangeable face covers equals nine different combinations. As a busy woman myself, I am constantly on the lookout for smart accessories that can accompany me in all the different moments of my life. It was this that we had in mind when Shourouk and I worked together to design this exquisite set based on a central overarching theme. Ultra glamorous and graphic black and white, or baguette-cut crystals with an Art Deco influence? The two removable face covers, with their stone-stacking effect, mirror Shourouk’s ornamental style with a wonderful vintage twist. A chameleon-like and contemporary creation that you can discover in Swarovski boutiques from this September.
