HELLO, HARLEY

Introducing world-renowned D.J Harley Viera-Newton, Swarovski Squad member and street-style fashionista

The epitome of devil-may-care cool, model and DJ Harley Viera-Newton was born in London and raised in Los Angeles, and spent her 20s in New York for NYU. Signed with Jay Z’s label Roc Nation, Harley can be found spinning at international fashion weeks and festivals such as Coachella. With a style praised from the runways to streets around the globe, Harvey boasts cover girl status on magazines such as Vogue, Nylon, Harper's Bazaar, W, Purple, Jalouse, and more.

“I already sort of have a history with Swarovski,” says Harley. “I created a line of handbags with Judith Leiber using Swarovski crystals. I’ve actually djed a few CFDA events in collaboration with Swarovski so there is definitely a relationship there.”

Harley goes for the asymmetric look, pairing the Fantastic ear jacket with a simple earring. “It’s my favorite jewelry trend,” says Harley. “With jewelry you have to be really confident. If you’re wearing a huge earring, then wear a huge earring. It’s all about confidence as far as statement jewelry.” Harley completes the look with the Fantastic ring and Vittore ring, noting “I like to let a few pieces shine. It doesn’t have to be statement piece, it can just be a little subtle beautiful ring it’s nice to just let one or two pieces speak on their own.”

“I feel like Swarovski can be very glam but also very cutting edge and wearable and current which is great,” shares Harley. “If you wear something you feel great in, you feel comfortable in, and you can take on the day.”
